![]() ![]() I think this bottle would be great for taking to the gym as you can “chug” water with it quite easily. I appreciate how the lid stays fixed to the bottle so you don’t have to worry about removing it. Except, this has been designed to be extremely easy to remove the cap, just 1/2 a twist vs 3 turns for a regular bottle. The twist bottle has a twist-off lid, somewhat similar to a disposable water bottle or soda bottle. He doesn’t like spouts that you have to stuck on. Ryan prefers water bottles that allow him to drink a lot of water, really fast. The bottle in the center of the photo above is the twist style. ![]() It fits nicely in standard cup holders which is nice, too. This is the 25oz size which I find to be a good size for using when running errands around town or similar. If you ordered this bottle in purple, the straw that would come with it is pink, etc. As you can see here, the straw for the white/clear bottle is a turquoise color. A fun feature of the flip bottle in tritan is you can see the straw side, and Owala uses contrasting straw colors with some of the bottles. It uses a straw so that you can suck water up from the bottom of the bottle. It has a flip-out spout that can fold in, and even lock in place when not in use. The clear & white bottle o the far left is the flip style. For reference, all of mine are in tritan. Each of the three styles of bottles come in stainless steel or tritan materials, and in multiple sizes and colors. These are differences in the lids or spouts of the bottles. There’s the FreeSip, the Flip, and the Twist. They make just three types so you don’t have to get bogged down with too many options. Owala is a brand that makes water bottles that are simple, yet cleverly designed. I was sent Owala water bottles and a bottle brush as part of my holiday gift guide.
